By downloading or using Pitikan ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pitikan on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or lease any part of the app.
Online games are played against real people. You agree not to use modified versions of the app, automated play, or any other means of gaining an advantage the rules do not give you, and not to interfere with other players' games. Display names are shown to other players and must not be offensive, misleading, or someone else's; we may reset a name that is. We may remove leaderboard entries and match records, or suspend a player ID, where we believe a game was not played fairly.
Online play, notifications, and the leaderboard depend on servers and third-party services. We aim to keep them available but do not guarantee it, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue online features at any time, including by retiring older versions of the app that no longer follow the current rules. Games against the computer work without any of this.
Your player ID, match records, and leaderboard standing are described in our Privacy Policy. A player ID that is not linked to Game Center lives on one device; if you delete the app or lose the device, we may not be able to reconnect you to that record.
The app, its design, code, and content are owned by Kanto Projects or used under license from their respective creators, and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The schoolyard game it is based on belongs to everyone who ever played it on a piece of pad paper.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kanto Projects is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost games, lost records, or unavailability of online features.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may end or restrict access to online features for players who violate these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
